i can%26#039;t live without stratight hair and i really would love for you to help me/moi
How can i straighten my hair without damaging it??
Bed Head has heat protector for your hair,

it works really well (:
How can i straighten my hair without damaging it??
i hear you should dampen it some before you straighten it and that helps.
Reply:ceramic flat iron

straighten it a day less per week
Reply:use a protective spray and blowdry with a large round brush on low heat, it takes longer than using a flatiron, but much much less damaging
Reply:Try Ironing it. That what we used to do.
Reply:uhmm...

well dont ever leave your hair wet...

when you wash it

thoroughly blow dry it on low heat setting

and use hair serum from garnier fructis...

go slow on the straightner and remember not to rush urself..
Reply:I would buy a straightener you can turn down the heat around your face. Get a really good flat iron spray that says it is heat protecting. Those are the only two things you can really do. Flat ironing your hair is going to damage it anyway but those are the biggest steps to healthier hair
Reply:Try putting things in your hair like serums, that help prevent breakage from heat damage, or not to put the heat setting on your straightener so high, or not to use your straightener everyday. =)
Reply:put heat protecting spray on your hair before you straighten it
Reply:well, it will get a little bit damaged no matter what you do. here are some things that will really help though:

dont use a cheap flat iron, use a chi or a sedu or something, never a conair. (they kill your hair)

use a heat protection spray before you straighten it

and, use a good conditioner, and maybe even a leave-in conditioner every once in a while. ask a stylist about shampoo and conditioner, i am not sure what brand is the best

trim it every few months, so you dont get split ends!

oh, and it might help to blow dry it first, but it depends on how your hair is. good luck!!!
Reply:there are certin staiteners that damge your hair.the metle ones are the ones that damage it.but there is this one staitener called the her styler umm it makes your hair softer and can curl too.just dont use metal staiteners basicly
Reply:this is what i do...my hair is really soft and nice...

only straiten when going some where

use leave in moisturizer after you straiten

use heat protection spray/cream

wash you hair only with conditioner every other day

if your hair is dry and dead use shampooh for dry dameged hair

hope this help

Reply:well you can help the damage by using a protecting spray. i get a cheap one at wal*mart but i%26#039;ve talked to professionals and they all say it works as good as any other one out there. it%26#039;s called V05 heat defense conditioning spray. it%26#039;s like a bronze/red bottle with orange on it. it%26#039;s a spray bottle
Reply:well there is always products that will help the condition ...but I find when striaghtening it when my hair is damp...it damages it more...than when it is completely dry...I unno for sure
Reply:Okay never leave it wet that will fry it even more.Use a hydrating shampoo like Biolage hYdrating shampoo and conditioning balm then spray in a leave in conditioner in after you take a shower.Use a heat protectant as well before you straighten it.I know it sounds like a lot but really you will have healthy hair,%26amp;that will help keep the moisture in your hair and keep in from getting damaged.
Reply:I usually use %26quot;shuga%26quot; you can get it from Visible Changes. It is a leave in conditioner you just spray before straitening your hair. Also it makes your hair shiny and helps to not damage it.
Reply:there is nothing that will protect your hair from the heat. just use deep conditioner and try not to straighten your hair a lot! get it trimmed ever 6-12 weeks!
Reply:First of all, DONT LISTEN TO WHAT m%26amp;fn princess said!!! and lol, jessie K. Use a protective spray before straightening your hair. It works wonders! :)
Reply:there are some sprays that you can spray on your hair before you straighten it and they seem to work and protect your hair!
Reply:Use biosilk, and don%26#039;t do it when it%26#039;s wet.
Reply:You may consider going to Sally%26#039;s beauticians store and buying a flat hair iron. I have naturally waves and I did not know what to use until I tried the flat iron. Don%26#039;t buy the cheap ones at the drug stores or Wal Mart. You will not damage your hair if you press after shampooing and wrap.
